Welcome to Essence of Reiki.

My name is Ruth, and I am a qualified Reiki practitioner, crystal therapist, and Indian head massage therapist based in Gateford, Worksop.

My own journey through chronic health issues, stress, and anxiety has deeply shaped the work I do today. Through these experiences, I discovered the power of holistic healing and how beautifully it can support day-to-day wellbeing, while also working alongside conventional medicine. This has led me to feel truly passionate about supporting others in finding calm, balance, and relief from the pressures of everyday life.


Every treatment I offer is completely tailored to your individual needs. We will work together to create a nurturing, supportive session that allows you to gain the very best from your time with me.


Alongside 1-1 treatments, I also hold sister circles and other soulful events, creating safe and welcoming spaces for connection, rest, and shared healing.

    A deeply relaxing treatment designed to calm the nervous system, release tension and restore balance to the body and mind. During your session you will lie comfortably while being immersed in the gentle vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments. These soothing frequencies help quiet the mind, release energetic blockages and encourage deep relaxation. Many people experience a sense of stillness, emotional release and improved wellbeing. Sound healing can be especially supportive if you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, emotionally drained or simply in need of time to rest and reset.
